MIND and VISION
'We see very largely with the mind and only partly with the eyes. The phenomena of vision depends upon the mind's interpretation of the impression upon the retina. What we see is not that impression but our interpretation of it.' WH Bates
OUR IMAGINATION
doesn't just colour or tint what we see with a rosy glow. It makes the difference between seeing and kissing a prince or a frog.

Helps us to see clearly
Try looking at a chart at the distance you can see it clearly without glasses and then move it towards you or away from you so you no longer see it clearly. Put it at the unclear distance, Close your eyes and imagine you are looking at the chart at the distance you saw it clearly. Keep imagining that it is at this clear distance while you open your eyes.
